What are some common arrangements for parenting time in Florida?

The parenting time in Florida is typically what works best for the child and with the parents, depending on their schedule and what’s best for the child. A lot of times when the parties can agree on a schedule then it’s whatever that they have come to. When the parties don’t agree and a court needs to make that decision, generally the court will impose a 50/50 timesharing schedule; that could be a week with mom and then a week with dad. Or it could be Monday and Tuesday with one parent, Wednesday, Thursday with the other and rotating the weekends. Generally though, unless there’s a significant reason not to have 50/50 timesharing, a court is going to look to have the child spend an equal amount of time with each parent.
